Women's health needs should be better taken into account.

Bern, 15.05.2024 - Women have different health needs to men. Too little account is currently taken of this fact in treatment and research. At its meeting on May 15, 2024, the Federal Council adopted a postulate report that identifies the need for action. It also instructed several federal agencies to implement measures in research, prevention and education.

Initiative Schweiz ist Partner

Initiative Schweiz supports the establishment of a national organisation for gender medicine in Switzerland. In addition to networking all relevant stakeholders from medicine, business, politics and administration, it is planned to hold a national symposium in Bern in autumn 2025.
