Prof. Dr. med. Angelica Lindén Hirschberg is Professor of Obstetrics and Gynaecology at the Institute for Women's and Children's Health at the Karolinska Institute, Head of the Research Department for Women's Health, and a specialist in gynaecological endocrinology at the Karolinska University Hospital in Stockholm. She holds various positions in sports medicine, including at World Athletics, the International Olympic Committee, and AntiDoping Sweden. In 2016, she received the Grand Prize in Sport Science and in 2024 the Karolina Prize for her outstanding achievements in clinical research.
