Ivo Schauwecker is Managing Director of the Digital Trial Innovation Platform (dTIP) at ETH Zurich and has been President of EUPATI Switzerland since 2020. EUPATI brings together patients, academic and industrial partners to raise awareness of the interfaces between patient education and patient involvement in drug research and development.

PD. Dr. Berna Özdemir is a senior consultant in medical oncology and senior lecturer at the University of Bern. She is actively involved in shaping gender-specific oncology practice through her leadership of various academic and clinical initiatives, international research collaborations and teaching programmes.

Dr. James Cleland studied at the University of Queensland (AU) and the University of California, Berkeley (USA) and received his doctorate from the Max Planck Institute for Molecular Cell Biology and Genetics (DE). Since January 2022, he has been a postdoctoral researcher at the German Cancer Research Centre and the European Molecular Biology Laboratory (DE).
