What does it take for scientific findings to be put into practice?
The Swiss Gender Medicine Symposium 2026 covers everything from scientific foundations to clinical application and health policy decisions. Consistently forward-looking and with a clear focus on what works: solutions, best practices, and concrete ways in which gender medicine can be sustainably established in the healthcare system.
What to Expect
The program offers a wide variety of content. It combines the fundamentals and future prospects of gender medicine with topics such as global health and health policy, clinical guidelines, prevention, men’s health, as well as artificial intelligence (AI) and big data. Contributions on the SAGER Guidelines (Sex and Gender Equity in Research) and innovations in medical education round out the program.
Practical how-to sessions, poster presentations, and panels round out the symposium and create space for interdisciplinary exchange.
